Searching and Report Filtering
MaintScape has approximately 180 built-in reports. Report results can be exported to external files such as Microsoft Excel. You can create custom reports against the MaintScape database using any major reporting tool such as Microsoft Access or Crystal Reports. The MaintScape database structure is fully documented to help you write such reports.

The "Filters" tab page of search criteria lets you search for work order using a sub-search for items that apply to work orders.

For example, the search criteria specified in the sample screen print is: "show me work orders where the maintained equipment has a mileage meter and is not retired.".

Filtered searches are a powerful way to leverage MaintScape search windows. For this sample screen print, the equipment search window was used to construct a query that is used to search for work orders on matching equipment.
