The MaintScape multi-currency optional module supports selectable currencies for:
In all cases, however, MaintScape converts the foreign currency amount to the user's standard currency, then saves the foreign currency amount, standard currency amount, and the exchange rate.
For example, a MaintScape user in the United States will set their standard currency to be U.S. Dollars.
Using the multi-currency optional module, the MaintScape user could order parts from a Canadian supplier in Canadian Dollars.
Reports will typically present amounts in standard currency, or U.S. Dollars in this example, since this is the currency of operation of the MaintScape user, and it permits varying currency amounts to be summed, analyzed or compared.
