The MaintScape maintenance schedule creates work orders on a periodic basis.
For example, you use the MaintScape maintenance schedule to set up your preventive maintenance schedules.
A MaintScape maintenance schedule is defined by 3 primary pieces of information:
-
The equipment (or location) to maintain.
-
The procedure identifying the work to be done.
MaintScape procedures are template work orders from which real work orders are created.
-
Scheduling information identifying how often the work should be done.
Scheduling can be by calendar (e.g. every 2 weeks), or by meter (e.g. every 100 running hours).
Schedules can also be floating, which means the next time the work should be done depends on when the current work order is closed.
The sample screen print shows a calendar maintenance schedule.
You can see a meter maintenance schedule screen print by clicking the "Meter Schedule Example" radio button above the screen print.
Additional scheduling parameters are specified on tab page "Main - 2".
For example, whether the work order should be due only on Monday through Friday.
MaintScape maintenance schedules can be nested with each other.
For example, nested monthly and quarterly maintenance schedules create a quarterly PM work order when the two schedules come due at the same time.
Similarly for meter maintenance schedules, nested 100 and 300 running hour maintenance schedules create a 300 hour PM work order when the two schedules come due at the same time.
Please click the tabs at the top of the sample screen print to see other maintenance schedule window tab pages.
For example, you can click on tab "Main - 2", "Nested Schedules", "Supl Task Desc", etc.
