The Today's Status window shows you the most important MaintScape summary statistics by category. For example, work order statistics may include: work orders coming due, slightly overdue work orders, very overdue work orders, and number of work orders closed in the last month. The list of statistics is completely configurable. You can double-click to drill down from any summary statistic to the actual list of items (e.g. work orders).

MaintScape supports calibrations using a special "calibration" type of work order. Therefore all the power and flexibility of the MaintScape work order and its processes applies to calibrations. For example, calibration work orders can be created either manually or periodically by a maintenance schedule.

The sample screen print shows the special "Calibration" tab available in MaintScape calibration work orders. This tab supports the following calibration capabilities:

  • You can indicate whether the equipment to calibrate was found or left operable, and found or left in tolerance. These values can expand or contract the time between calibrations for calibration work orders created from a maintenance schedule.
  • You can indicate what standards rules are used to perform the calibration.
  • You can indicate which instruments were used to perform the calibration. This provides the basis for MaintScape multi-level forward and reverse traceability reports:
    • Forward tracing reports tell you what equipment was calibrated from what instruments.
    • Reverse tracing reports tell you what instruments calibrated a particular equipment.
  • You can record measurements taken when performing the calibration.

MaintScape also prints calibration certificates for successfully calibrated equipment.
